Some
remarks to membership of foreigners
(non-Turkish citizens) in Turkish associations

A foreigner
that possesses a valid residence permit for Turkey can be a regular member of an
association, with all rights and duties. Provided according to the Turkish
association laws there are no reasons against the
membership of this person.

Foreigners that do
not have a residence permit can become honourable
members. This deprives them of the right to vote
and be elected in the main assemblies.
